Blog #4 Essay 2
I actually didn't have that great of a problem completing this assignment. I read the material and chose the 3 that I believed to have the strogest connection with eachother. Although all of them sort of had the same concept in a way. The only problem I had with this assignment is knowing when to stop writting. I feel that I focused on one story more than I focused on the others and I didn't really balance them out like I should have. I have never compared three different passages on to one paper before, it was actually somewhat exciting to experience something new like that. I'm not sure if I did the cwork Cited right but I gave it a whirl. I wish I woulda chose different stories that relate to eachother, I think it would have been a little bit more easy. I attempted many many time throughout the essay to write TS/CD form but I got stuck when I would mention certain things. What sort of got me caught up was the CM's. I would have a topic, then I would take some sort of quote out of the book, then I wouldn't really know what to say after that. I tried to fill in the space and the gaped thoughts but Is was a bit difficult for me to add the TS/CD in the mix. I think If I had a little bit more practice with the TS/CD It would work alot better for me. But I do understand I how it is supposed to work. practice makes perfect and I will continue to work on it. When I did this assignment I found it easier to write a topic at the beginning of the essay stating what the similarities are between the 3 passages I chose and writting about them in the order I read them. I sort of did each seperate part like essay #1 but I focused more on the similarity part more than just the summary...but When I did summarize the stories it was pretty clear what the similarities were between all three of the stories.
